The winners of this years Nikon Small World competition have been announced. Overall winner is Jennifer Peters et al for the image of the blood brain barrier in a live zebrafish. Other notables include Walter Piorkowski’s image of new born lynx spiderlings.
Nikons Small World Photomicrography Competition has been running since 1974, and is regarded as the world’s leading competition for showcasing the beauty and complexity of life under a light microscope.
The exhibition will now undertake a world tour, starting the US. See the website for dates.
