Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it’s just a couple of Olympic cyclists escaping from a bizarre image vortex in this week’s Mash-Up competition. Help them escape by untangling the images

Our Mash-Up this week was inspired by Olympics news – not from the track but from the world of design.  The London Design Museum’s Design of the Year 2012 went to Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby for their design of the Olympic Torch. Constructed from aluminium, its 8,000 holes represent an individual who carried the torch on its way to the Olympic opening ceremony.

Our ISM visual intelligence unit (Image Source Monitor) have also been busy exploring how Olympics and sports imagery are likely to be used in business advertising over the next six months. Check out the ISM info-tool 9.58

And if you’re looking for a bit of creative distraction and the chance to win an Image Source limited edition Moleskin in the process, have a go at our Olympics Mash-Up.
